About me

I’m a multi-hyphenate writer, director and actor from the Washington D.C. area. My parents emigrated from Cameroon, which means I probably should have become a lawyer, doctor or engineer. But then, I found a passion for storytelling, or rather storytelling found me. I began my media career at Longwood University, where I wrote for the school’s newspaper, hosted a radio show and created my first short films. Since then, I expanded my career as a writer, director and actor. I’ve created two shows: MONDAZE, a workplace comedy I write, co-star in and co-direct, and Night School, which I’m the lead writer on. I co-wrote and will be co-starring in my feature film debut, High Odyssey. I was also the lead writer and director on up-coming audio drama podcast, Stolen Girls, produced by PushBlack. Besides my writer-director projects, catch me on the animated comedy, The Matumbilas on KweliTV, voicing characters like Devonte and Coach Hamisi.

MONDAZE

“The anti-work, workplace comedy”

MONDAZE is a surrealist workplace comedy capturing my viewpoint on modern day labor. I created, wrote every episode,

co-starred and co-directed the show in every iteration. From audio comedy to full fledge YouTube-series. I’m proud to say the show has accumulated millions of views across platforms and garnered a loyal audience!

Night School

The second series I had the honor to create, this time with Casey “LeanandCuisine” Lawrence and Sherwyn Santos. A show created as an exercise in limitations, but a fun experience nonetheless. Our absurdist take on a ragtag group of misfits. I was the lead writer on the show and also the tallest person on set!

Stolen Girls

Lead Writer, Director and Actor

I was the director, one of the lead writers and a principal actor on PushBlack’s “Stolen Girls”, which reached the top 10 on Apple’s history podcasts:

Based on the true story of more than a dozen Black girls (ages 9 to 15) who were abducted by police during a 1963 protest in Americus, Georgia, where, for 45 days, their whereabouts remained a mystery to their family, community, and the world.
